Our breeding services have
changed dramatically over the last 3 years with the development
of the embryo transfer program. We are not only doing ET
work on our own mares but also provide these services to outside
draft mares. We maintain a pool of Belgian mares as
recipients to this ET program. It is exciting and
fulfilling to promote the genetics of some very great broodmares
in the draft industry.
Oak Haven provides three
types of unique breeding services:

Stallion Services
We are still currently
using C.J. Legand
and Dana’s Master
Justin as our breeding stallions
but have them standing at Rebar Acres Stallion Service in
Indiana. James Raber has fifty percent ownership of these
two great stallions and is handling all the breeding contracts
to free up time and space at Oak Haven for the embryo transfer
services. The cornerstone of both individuals is their
excellent undercarriage and great bottoms.
C.J. Legand
stands as a proven sire with many Get Of Sire Champions and All-American
honors to his name C.J. Legand has proven
genetics deep in his pedigree.
Dana’s Master
Justin is a Master’s Eddie grandson with excellent bottoms.
He is a tremendous mover, in both the front and back end. Despite
Justin’s limited exposure he has already had foals nominated
for All-American.
C.J. Legand and
Dana's Master Justin have been tested and are negative of
Junctional Epidermolysis Bullosa (JEB)

Breeding Services
From our band of
Oak Haven mares we are selling
mare breedings to the sire of your choice. The embryo is
then transferred to a recipient mare at 8 days past ovulation and when the pregnancy is
confirmed at 30 days in the recipient mare, you will assume

Embryo Transfer Services
Our embryo transfer
services is mainly intended for draft donor mares. The
donor mares are boarded and cared for here at Oak Haven, bred to
the stallion of the owner's choice and then placed into one of
